so i parked my car out on the street in front of my house, my street happens to be one of the most busy streets downtown Madison Saturday night til Sunday morning. Ive done this before and its been alright...

i go out Sunday morning and i got rear ended by a hit and run driver that evening, probably a drunk.. the car 2 cars behind my got a mirror taken off. the one behind me got sideswiped and i took the blunt of the hit, getting pushed into the car ahead of it as well.

my cobalt got pushed 8-10 inches forward judging from the tire skid marks. the rear bumper is shot. the front is cracked. part of my exhaust fell off and was pushed into the wheel well. my fender gaps are off, my gas cap gap looks to be a bit off , theirs dents on the door and rear 1/4. the c pillar may be a bit distorted but im not sure on that.

the car drives alright, pulls a bit to the left.. i donno what the fate of my balt will be... pictures later perhapse

not to self, no road parking
and cobalts without mufflers are effing loud, feel like a ricer

 

i would say goodbye becasue that sounds like major damage, it sounds like it would be totaled. with all you discribed it just doesnt look good when i try to pic it. post pic when you can. by the way that sucks.

Okay, so I was in a rush to get out of the door this morning so I never turned my boost up. I got to beeyond engineering at 9:15AM. We got the car on the dyno, and at 15- 16psi, my car put down 303hp and 245tq.(peak power was at 7150rpm) So he started taking my downpipe off and 7, yes 7, hours later he was done. Now i had to leave asap because i had a dinner to be at at 4:30. (if you do the math he got done at 4:15PM) So long story short, I never got a chance to do an "after" dyno pull. To his defense, he did a beautiful job, replaced one of my gaskets, and a cracked weld in my catback had to be rewelded. Oh, how long does exhaust wrap take to stop smelling like that?
