E I got 225/45/18R and I'm lowered 2" front and back, I don't have any clearance issues but, if you wanted to call it safe, I know some one that would roll your fenders for you for 25-35$ I had to have the turbo cobalt's rolled when I lowered it, 225/45/18r is factory on that car but, if you were to need it, you would only have clearance issues in the back, only if you have fat chicks in the back seat or if you went over a huge bump. Rolling the fenders would solve it thou, and it only takes bout 30 minutes to do.

 

Hey guys sorry to randomly chime in, I have commented on here before, and been reading a bit. Just wanted to see whats up and say hello. I recently traded in my 06 ls for a 07 SS/SC, great car. Are you guys planning a meet at all anytime soon?

That would be cool, I think a cruise one weekend would be in order. Want to get to know more people that own cobalts then I do now.

 

If you guys had any meets closer to me, id for sure go for a cruize im from the sowthwest corner of the state...and i know an ss/sc thatd prolly join in on the cruize (DJaudio)...Lacrosse is about 1hr20min from me...

 

i might be going up to WArrens this week by my godmother, we could meet up then.

im gonna start planing. Cruise for later in the summer or fall. Il get everyones input later. But anyways when we hang at my place bring a mod ud like to get done. We will help.

Just about everyone in this thread is a team member of Team Rev and we all live in south east wisconsin or with in 45 mins of milwaukee. were always donw for meeting new cobalt owners.

 

actually my gf lives near new london so were in appleton all the time, and my cousin with the blue sti is in appleton too.

I didn't mean it that way, lol. I work in menasha and live in appleton. My balt isn't hard to miss.

 

Tinted tails are not on yet they were supposed to be but I just havent gotten around to doing it yet. Im thinking of getting them done professionally so I have nothing to worry about.
