Hey all, my name is Corey and i live in Madison and drive a black on black 07 ss/sc. I was trying to recruit some new people to a site a friend of mine created. its wistreetandtrack.com. its not a club or anything, just a bunch of guys and girls who like to shoot the **** about cars and post up anything they like. Its nothing close to the size a forum like this one buts its a good time. All cars are welcome and anyone from wisconsin. If you want to swing by,register and throw up an intro and just see what you think.

We also have another local one there that anyone can join. its called madcitytuners.com. its our older site thats still open. we just wanted to open a site for a larger area and doesnt have "tuners" in the name since we also have quite a few domestics. take a look at them if you want. on the first site im McMuffDiver and Mclovin23 on the other.

quick question for everyone that is running meth injection... Im pondering start selling it and was wondering if anyone would be interested... I would premix it at a 50/50 ratio and im thinking a price would be in the range of 5 bucks a gallon.... im just tryin at this point in time if theres a interest cause i I have to fork out a lot of money for a 55 gallon drum of 100% methonal so I have to see if theres enough interest before I bite the bullet and buy it.

I was not trying to cause problems. Its all good man!

I have not sold the TVS yet. I am still not 100% sure if I am going to or not. I am just trying to send out feelers right now. If I get serious I will start a FS thread.

I have the turbo bug right now. Or should I say TWINCHARGE bug...sorry Jordan! This happens to me every winter. I get antsy not being able to work on my car. Last winter I almost sold my car!

We will see what happens?

So when did you get a TVS? Or should I say, two TVSs?

That's a pretty good deal. I don't need meth but that is a option for those who might need it.

thats what I thought but it seems to be a mixed review... I posted on a few other local forums and some people are begging me to do it and others are almost bashing me. so I will give it a few more days and see if I can get some more input

Corn is good for you!

Eric when you get time, hopefully the cobalt will be out this weekend. Maybe we can setup some time for you to come hang out and we can work on some tuning?

You could help by donating a Hahn S20g turbo! lol jk

I am looking at the ZZP twincharge kit. But they just released a budget turbo kit for LSJ with heavy cooling mods.

http://www.zzperformance.com/cobalt_...=934&catid=143

It basically allows you to keep all your water/air cooling mods and still run a turbo. Its price very good too!

That is very interesting, so do you basically take out the fins in the supercharger but the supercharger pulley still spins? Wonder what kind of numbers you could make with that kit.

Yeah. The kit includes a rotor delete plate. It is the same width as the plate the rotors are currently connected to.

Replace the rotor plate with the one from the kit and re-install the snout. The pulley just spins freely like an idler pulley.

The nice part is that it does not ruin the M62. So if a few months down the road you want to go with a turbo manifold you can reinstall the the rotors back into the M62 and sell it for a few hundred bucks.

Or if you wanted to go back to stock you could do that very easily.

I have been saying for years that this is how they should make a turbo kit. Its cheap and it bolts on. And it can be upgraded in the future.

There was a black cobalt from Michigan that did this 2 years ago. Of course now the car has been redone and makes more than 500whp.
