here's the deal, i'm working tonight, probably won't be home till around 2am. long freakin day. if i wake up early after no sleep i'm gonna be pissed, tomorrow was my one "relax" day for a while

i'm usually wound up from working, and can't go right to sleep. i'll probably go to bed around 4. i have no problem with a lack of sleep, but if i wake up drive down to the meet and it's cancelled then i'll be pissed

 

haha so will i...ive been sneaking my car into the detail bay here and there the last 2 days trying to get **** done when the owners not looking...lol

 

i'm not even cleaning mine. if i clean it today before work it's guaranteed to rain i just waxed and claybarred it 2 weeks ago, so if i go through the car wash it will look like i cleaned it up real good. so i'll do that in the morning.

And my new painted valve cover looks ultra sexy

yeah i had them claybar and buff out the outside last night for the first time ever....smooth as hell now...i just finished up the inside and then weather permitting ill run it through the car wash b4 i head down

 

i need a clay bar and such but i think i'm just going to settle for a wash sometime today and using the touchup paint on the scratches on either side of my bumper from the hit and runs i've apparently been in

 

i got 3 dings on my pass side from those ******** at the palisades mall who push their doors open on my car not really that noticeable but it drives me nuts...not to mention the countless rock chips on the front

 

you also have a white car lol so white marks aren't noticed hehe.. but yea it really pisses me off.. apparently someones scrapped either side of my rear bumper.. or a carriage did it.. but it still pisses me off

 

so it looks like it wont be the best day..but not the worst day..well have to wait n see..i mean today by me..weather is awesome...so who knows. i wish i got paid thousands of dollars to lie about the weather..hahaha

well I think there is something terminal, or my valves seals are shot... at cold startup my car puts up one hell of a smoke screen til it warms up, but driving it seems alright, I dunno this car is strange. I just did some WOT pulls to see and there was no smoke. guess it's time to swap in that spare head I got laying around

 

Well I learned something new, non-resistor plugs and coil on plug ignition do not mix.

Jumped on the turnpike and got a steady misfire while in boost. Tore the entire top end down and changed everything but the coil packs of course. Fixed now, got a late start but we should be at the hotel around 9 tonight.

I got word that the Pittsburgh GTO guys got their first G8 kill on the turnpike too. Figures.

 

you and LI paul never cease to amaze me with how non chalantly you talk about ripping your motors apart....im scared to even switch out my valve cover with a polished one
