You will probably have the highest horsepower cobalt in the area. I saw in the new member section, theres another local cobalt. He started pming me asking if we could meet up and check out each others cars. Im not into meeting guys.. Maybe if we do an actual meet I will participate. Just need a roll call of who actually in Delaware still has a cobalt lol. Matt would probably still go, just to gloat and show off his new caddy.

If I could find a clean, low mileage, LSD equipped Cobalt I'd get back into one. I regret selling my last one. The explorer my wife got is a typical Ford POS.

The plan was to have extra money for the GTO and that never happened. I JUST got my cam and suspension done. Wheels are on the way.

 

I probably will have the highest one in the region, if not, definitely up there. should be just a bit over 600whp. im down for a meet but I need it running first. think I might swap the motors over labor day weekend since I have a 4day weekend. just need to finish my yard work. hate starting one thing and moving on to another lol.

Well I can say I have the only yellow sedan ss in Delaware lol. I knew one in Maryland but it was beat to **** back in 2010. Im sure its no longer around. Kid told me he was purposely making it look like crap to make it a sleeper. Bro its already a sleeper, nobody has a clue about sedan ss's.

no. just got the motor dropped and new one in on sunday. gotta finish bolting up the sensors and coolant lines and **** today when I get home. picking up new axles after work and sway bar end links. rest of the suspension stuff will be on hold til I get back. turbo and turbo parts should be in later this week I hope. then waiting on Matt M to send me my PCM back to run this thing. a lot to finish, but mostly small ****. hopefully in two weeks. just want some mileage on it before I deploy again. might try and get out to zzp for a real tune before I leave though. depending on mileage.

 

If you ever see a 09 red coup with rally stripes/racing stripes (whatever the **** there called) driving like an ass hole that would be me. I'm in North Wilmington and none of my friends have sports cars so they're not really into talking about cars and whatnot, so that's kind of a bummer.

 

Ive seen a few cobalts in the area, mostly SS's. I dont believe any of them are on here though. Im in Newark. I got a pull with my neighbors 11+ bama tuned mustang. It was pretty intense, I was surprised I was accelerating roughly the same speed as him. Pretty sure he started to pull at the end of third haha.
