the wedding was really fun, i'm actually glad it's over. they've been dating for 8 years so it was about freaking time!

I called them for the endurance races on sunday, but it was for members only ... . I like the fact that theyre gas powered and not high powered electric (although they can be fun too). I would be down for a meet there .... about this saturday at cecil, I may be able to make it ... I am not 100% positive though; grandmother's bday ...

i'm a member there... got a racing license it's a freaking blast, i'm going to see what i can do about a meet there.

 

what time will the track day start on saturday? is there a gate fee or anything?

 

prob 9am, $10 to watch, $20 or $25 to race.

Speak'n of BWW: My boy made one of tha waitresses cry this past weekend. He ordered a cherry coke, and she brought rootbeer with cherries. He sent it back for another, which as flat coke, so he ordered another - same thing. He finally got a Sprite. Tha manager came over and asked what tha prob was (he came over with a BIG attitude). Tha manager asked why tha hell he didn't order a sprite to begin with My other boy started to get loud with him and said all he wanted was a cherry coke. Tha Mngr said they didn't sell cherry coke. . Evidentally tha waitress had been work'n since 10am and it was about 10pm so she was stressed. Tha rest of tha night we had like 6 other waitresses come'n over to see if we needed anything. My boy wanted to apologize to her but there was a big black dude in a sweater-vest that was act'n like her bodyguard or something.....wow BWW has changed.

 

it looks like they already have something on their schedule down at cecil county on saturday. maybe their schedule is wrong, but i doubt it.

 

yea i'm definately going... i've been busy this morning.

wantedss/tc is correct.... look to be at Cecil at 9. there may be a meeting spot before hand so we can cruise in together. thread will be started now.

i just looked at their schedule and all it says is "BUICKS" so maybe a club rented the track for the day..... i'll make a call ASAP and find out what's going on.

 

they always have events at Cecil on saturdays. Be prepared to run next to cars with open headers ... .

Toying with the idea of putting the cobalt up for sale...we really want to buy a house before the wedding and getting rid of a car payment is the only logical way of doing it. I really don't wanna get rid of it, so we'll see. Maybe just stick with renting until its paid off in two years and then buy a house.

 

I dont know what the condition of the tires on those rims is, but i have a set of Continental Sport Contact 2 225/40-18 tires (the stock Turbo SS tires) that I would be willing to sell. they fit 18" rims. they have about 65% tread left and were rotated regularly and all that. i bought some pirellis for my SS, that's why i took them off.
