Attention all cobalts in the greater baltimore maryland area :)
So I have recently gotten back in to another cobalt and I would love to have another get together. See some old faces as well as hopefully new ones. I know you all are out there hiding. Post some replies on some ideas, locations, and dates of when we could all possibly get together. I understand we are mostly adults, so we have families, college, and jobs, so for the sake of that, I was thinking about maybe a friday evening or saturday evening meet. lets start out at saying meet up around 7-7:30. Let me know what you all think

Thats what it's looking like. When I had my old cobalt, there was around 20 or 30 people that would show up to our meets. Now, I tried getting in contact with them and more than half of them have sold their cars and nobody wants to come out any more. Oh well

I would have to agree MD is pretty quiet sad to see. I see very few SS guys around anymore once in a blue moon maybe. Most of the guys I met almost never drive their cars. Sad. I love mine and I would never get rid of it.

This is true. You really have to know where the meets are to find one other cobalt. I've seen at least 3 cobalts in my area. Never see them around or at meets. Its too bad since every meet I go to, there is usually one person who's cocky enough to challenge me. lol

I am down for any challenges! I am not cocky though, I know the limitations of my car and my driving skills. I also won't drive dirty like many of the ricers do in the area. Win or lose it is all in fun for me. I love getting the muscle guys fired up that drive around the area just so they will show what they got! I of course get smoked but its all in good fun.

Lol talking about getting muscle guys fired up, the day I bought my car it seems all the mechanics at my shop want to race me or see what it can do lol. I'm not the type that talks trash btw it's just something about the car that gets their attention

That was the same when I bought mine when I was working for the dealer. All guys didn't really want to race me as much as they wanted to jack the car and take it for a spin. It was non stop for about the first month it was like dealing with a bunch of children. I had to keep my keys on me or in a secure place. I had to put something in the car at the end of the day one time and the manager we had jumped in and started driving around the building.

I agree on the quietness of MD I have been trying to line up my work schedule with some meets I've seen around but hasn't worked out I'm down for a meet anywhere if work will let me.

Hey Marylanders, I have successfully made a group in NC with over 40 members and an average of 20 Balts showing up to the meets that happened once a week, now I am doing the same thing here in Maryland! Let's get all the Maryland Balts together! Here is the link https://www.facebook.com/groups/579700298777152/
