That reminds me... for the Tom's that wanna see me at the track.... Ferrets more then the other Tom....
I'd really be interested to see how your TC runs with me considering i'm not on an aftermarket tune.... we woundl't be able to race really if I was considering the only after market tune for my car puts me at 400whp..... The Trfecta vs Stage 1 should be interesting.....
lmao. Ok. what ever you say tex.

Any of you guys going to this meet? https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/north-east-56/aug-meet-ideas-pa-md-de-ny-va-etc-168516/
Yeah, took me a few runs to get a good technique for "launching" down. I found out that revving to around 1500rpms in the brake stand was the best way to go. When I did a WOT brake stand I ran high 16.9's. I think with some weight reduction and good ambient temps I could hit a 16.5 with my current setup. My car has a bunch of stuff in the trunk not to mention the extra weight from the spare, jack, etc. Also tonight was 78 degrees out with awfully high humidity. I think a 16.5xx is doable. You're more highly modded then me, I think if you launch well on a cool night you can get a 15.9xx.

but thats not a bad time.
also if you time the tree right and you will definately see much better times.
and from what i heard on a family night with no official racing your timer starts as soon as you start moving. not when the light turns. so with that in mind you can launch it with less worry to actually running the light.
maybe its different at island?
hell that would a good time for an auto considering NWAE had a hard time pulling a 14.9 with cams and a manual.

Thats how it alwyas is at Island. Its not off the light... its of the mark... So you could sit at the green for 5 sec and still run in the 15's... or where ever you guys run. And 14.X's is pretty sick out of a 2.2 N/A car... I didn't know he did that! Thats pretty impressive!

thats how every track works... you do not begin to time your run until you start to move... watch a video of a supra brake boosting at the track.. they will brake boost for liek 2 min and then take off... reaction times only mean something when you are in an actual race

thats what i figured, RT only showing YOU how long it took.
i might be going next wednesday if the weather is nice.
what did your car run tom?
Yeah, I mean its kind of fun to try and get a good R/T but its totally unrelated to the time you run. I don't think I'll be going back until the fall though unless we get a freak cold summer night.
