Exclamation Borrow/Rent A Pressure Bleeder?

It's a shot in the dark, but as it says, I am desperate for a pressure bleeder for today. I have to finish a brake job by myself after work and am not doing the one man "pump the pedal and jam a peice of wood between the seat and brake pedal" method.

Is there anyone around that can lend me one for today??? Maybe meet up around 1pm on my lunch so I can grab it? You'd have to be within 30 minutes of me (Worcester MA) since I'll have to get back to work on time

Depends on where in MA you are. I'm just west of Waterbury, CT off of exit 17 off 84. You would probably spend more money in gas than it would cost just to pick yourself up a new one for yourself..

They're really handy to have laying around so it might be worth it just to pick one up.

Yeah, you're a good 2 hours away

I'll just have to go buy one on my lunch break. It would be nice to have around anyway, like you said. I've always been meaning to grab one, but never have. Now I have to lol. Just trying to save some money for myself... maybe I can "borrow" one from Auto Zone or something.

Thanks for the offer!!!

I wish I could do that, but I don't have any time or a way to get all 4 wheels off the ground at once to gravity bleed. I still need to install a brake line and replacement caliper for this car which is the whole reason why I have to bleed in the first place.

The master cylinder is completely dry now that I had to remove the caliper and a brake line. This simple brake job turned into a can of worms.

I'll see if I can get a pressure bleeder today if no one close has one for me to borrow.

Picked up a vacuum bleeder as well as an additional "One Man Bleeder" thing. This'll be fun lol.

Thanks again!
