CAI Installed!

Installed my k&n CAI today. I love the way it opens up that supercharger, sounds badass. Anyone agree?

I agree. I heard the difference on my friend's redline between the stock setup and then with the CAI.

it was a bitch rippin apart the fenderwell plastic underneath. I'm gonna cut a hole in the bottom of it to let more air in as I travel. I left the one part of the cover off when I did a test run, and it seemed alot better obviously because it was getting more air. Time to make a hole and put on the drycharger.

my buddy has an evo. It ran a 13 flat on the quarter mile with 93 octane. He just bought a bigger turbo and he's going to send his ecu out for a tune. When he gets it all back together he expects to run low 12's maybe 11's.

as for the plastic being cut out, u might not wanna do that, it makes the filter more susceptible to water and heat from the hot ass road know what i mean?

i love evos, thats y the balt has to go

I agree with you on the heat, but the water, as long as you have that drycharger cover on there, and pay attention to deep puddles, you'll be fine
