yeah im staying home tonight the rain aint going to let up...ill be home tonight on cod 4...and paul im waiting for my stoptech rotors and pads and im about to order the zzp combo either this friday or next when i get my tax money...ill hit ya up when i get everything so we can install prob somtime mid feb or when your off...laterz peeps

 

i stayed home...i dont know about u guys but out where i am the wind is so bad you cant even drive without being blown off the damn road.

got on ebay from Nordstrom auto parts/salvage. It was a used one, but it was in great shape

 

they only hav 'em for the 2.2s(tha wouldnt hav a chance for working with ours, will it?...i emailed them about 2.0s

 

it should, just a different pigtail for the harness, I'm pretty sure the 2.2 alternator will work in reverse rotation (ours are cluthed so one way only) and you'd have to swap the pulley over

 

lol...ok doc, this is way over my head about making parts from diff models fit ours, has any1 done this yet? would you be able to make it work if i can't find any 2.0 alternators? what are the risks of that? would it last as long, i dont want it to be some kind of temp solution and hav die out on me again

 

I dunno on that man, I know a few people that switched to a 2.2 alternator to go turbo (got rid of the s/c and belt setup,, shorter belt, but it's in a different rotation.) Pm WITT or DJT one of them will definitely have the answer for you
