Hi Guys..contemplating buying a SS Turbo but not sure what some of the terminology means regarding turbo like "Launch", "Competitive Mode" and how to read the gauge. Would appreciate any comments.

Those are all traction control "terms" They have nothing to do with the turbo itself.

 

I think he meant turbo cobalt
Launch control, well put it in competive mode, hold in clutch, put in gear and floor it. will hold 5200 rpms for the launch.
competetive mode is just less traction control.

paul i talked to mismatchedfaces (his name is paul too) about his turbo setup he is using tag or something and he gets all his work done by matt at tunetime down the shore and he said he is pushing a little over 440whp on pump gas. he has the same hood as you and i believe he lives in Bergen county.

yeah I know the guy, and he made 405 I think on more boost. He's has a mixed kit also.

 

yeah he made 360ish something i want to say then 40x something and then finally 440 on pump gas cause i told him you made like 440 on race gas. then he said he wanted to build the motor and said he is going to shoot for 550-700 somewhere in between there i think he said i forget what he told me. i want to go turbo so bad but have no one that can help me get it on and tune it. :
