McDonalds parking lot sounds cool with me. It's supposed to rain this weekend again except for Sunday, so I don't know if I'll be out Friday night or Sat. night. This raining on the weekends **** is pissing me off. Sunday will be real nice, so yeah Captree should be good.

 

Well track looks shot for saturday, so if it stops raining saturday night I'll be out.

 

Actually, Friday night it doesn't look like it's supposed to rain (according to weather.com), so I might be out Friday night.

Car is at A2Z as they are the best. Captree Sunday sounds good but I dont have a car and I am watching my godson and neices. If I get the car back (which I doubt) I will post up.

I have heard nothing but good things about A2Z i guess thats were ill go when i put my new front bumper on after winter since the one on now is messed up

 

Alright everyone. I got something that is really annoying me. I've been getting a CEL for like 3 weeks or so, but it keeps going away. It's done it like 4 times. I checked the code & it said "system to lean." I did get a Stage 2 installed at the dealer & I also added an Ingen intake, all within 2 days of each other, so I don't know if it's the intake or the Stage 2 tune that's making it throw this code. I did, however bring it to the dealer yesterday (Veteran's Day) & they looked at it, thinking it was the tune because I told them that's what I thought. They told me something on the intake was a little loose, so extra air or so was coming through. They tightened it & did whatever, cleared the code & said to me that if it happens again I'd have to put the stock intake back on & bring it to them because they said they'd have to call up GM if the light comes on from the stock intake. Now today (Wednesday), the CEL came on again, hasn't went off yet, but it will I'm sure. But I don't think it could be the intake. I was thinking it's the tune from the Stage 2. I want to see what everyone on here's opinion is? Thanks a lot.

 

I think you should get BCP to tune your car so you wont get the cel. Its probably from the intake IMO.

Cel is nothing lol my air bag light has been on for the pass 4-5 months asked a guy at the dealer and they told me it mite not go off but it could go off for no reason. i told him thats nice to know. if anyone sees a cobalt on the lie with its air bags randomly deploying thats just me

 

yea i didnt even bother with GMS2 but i never got a CEL from my injen intake

35r is too big, especially with your power goals

it could, but I save your original tune and can erase and reload it, they'd never know.
as for the tune $150 for you basic upgraded Stage II setup... should net you @20-25 more whp and $250 for a full road tune which can eek out a little more.

Thanks a lot. It does drive me crazy. A couple people said that it's bad if it runs lean, but I tell them that the light keeps going away. The computer inside the car has to reset itself.

 

car isn't actually running lean... it's just the car compensating over 12% to trim the fuel at idle and part throttle....
