Hello All!
This is my first post on this forum since I bought my 09 SS about a month ago. For four years I was a DIEHARD VW enthusiast, having purchased an 04 Passat GLV 5M, 02 A4 6MQ, 06 GLI 6M and an 03 GTI VR6 6M. I stopped by the Rockenbach dealership on my day off and I really wanted to test drive a new SS. Before you know it, I traded in my GTI for it. I've spend thousands of dollars on my VW's to make them as fast as the Bolt but never quite did. My GLI, which I still have and will be returning at the end of the lease in February, has the closest feel to the Bolt. I payed 23,000 for it, same as the Bolt, but plunked 5 or 6 grand on chip, intake, exhaust, 18" wheels etc. The Bolt is faster, costs less to maintain, and looks just as good IMO as the GLI. Glad to be here! Ben
