dude;; it's probably the most simple thing to do... your coolant is hotter than your tranny fluid should be. hence the separate radiator for the tranny. If you can't tackle this, well...

ok havent been on since friday night. on the way home me an andy the supra got stuck with a svt ligtning. supra runs him and pulls HARD 2-3 cars. So i pull up to see what i can do we go from 80-120 and its dead even. Next run was the 3 of us 3 wide from 60 i pulled 1 car on the svt and stayed with my nose on the supras bumper. I was very happy dunno what you guys think but that is a fast truck.

Nice run. Chris.

Me and Mezzano had a little quickie run. 40 to about 90ish, i think, i wasn't really looking.
Lid and Cat-Back M6 Z28 vs. BCP 2.6 Cobalt

Camaro by 1.5-2. I was very impressed with Mike's car. That thing pulls like a mother ******. Fast ******' Cobalt.

Mike, get a full exhaust on that thing. BCP FTW!

yeah that was upsetting. Thought the cobalt had more in it. The camaro jumps out real hard. Anyway since that loss I decided to stop modding the balt after the ported blower go's in. Gonna just concentrate on getting money for axles, clutch and a rear end brace for the vette. Then a 175 shot.

aaah man... lol Remember though that camaro has almost 100lb/ft of tq at the wheels more than ya. I dunno I jumped on that srt-4 that dyno's 335/330 and took him by a car up to 140mph from a 40 roll. might as well hook up the vette though. Much better platform to work with.

Im not giving up on the cobalt. Just after the blower swap and solid engine mount it's goiing on the back burner for awhile. Have to hook the vette up a bit more and then pay these damn cars off. I want my money to be my money again.

Yeah same here. Only 5 more years of payments. I think depending on my raise this July I might step up my payments $50 a month. That should cut off a bit of my 6 year term.

yeah I use an E-1009 filter for the airbox mod.

I know you won't give up on the balt mike, but just get those mounts and I"ll have the blower finished soon for ya and just pay the things off make some double payments, just remember to put the 2nd one straight to the principal. I'm taking a break on the balt to do that myself. Trying to finish paying it off this year soon. still owe 17k on it, but I should be able to knock it out. Specially once I get my quarterly bonus soon.

Im getting an overnight job soon. Also starting that enginerring job in late summer and I'm gonna try to freelance meat cut on the weekends. If it all works out I should be able to pay 3k a month on the vette. After that the cobalt. Hopefully I'll be debt free by 1/1/09

And that's able to mount using a clamp?

OK cool. Couldn't really tell from all the pics I saw online. Ok here's a question, why choose that one when there's one made specifically for our cars? Not passing judgement on your knowledge...just curious.

well if you want to keep the stock airbox intact, go with the dropin replacement... if you want to do the airbox mod, get the E-1009
