hey guys. i've been lurking around this site since before i got my car (Nov). I've been meaning to say what's up. I see you get together on fridays on DPA. i'm in Islip Terrace, just a few min away. where and what time usually? i want to try to get down there but friday nights are usually (hopefully) a busy night for me.

 

so i got home a few hours ago from the dodge dealership..my wifes lease is up in 3 months so we were looking around. we got a hell of a deal

he gave me the truck at 17,000 + $750 in coupons wich would cover my lease take over

i told them that i wanted my payments below $350 and i was only going to put $500 down
now i have shitty credit also and he said if i gave him $2000 he could get my payments to $375 a month. i told him no and that i was gonna walk and i wanted my $500 back that i put down.

about 30 min later he calls me and tells me that his manager will knock off $3000 off the price he gave me and teh payment would be $335 a month

DEAL!

So i got a 2008 dodge nitro for $14,000 + they took over my lease on our 2007 Jeep Compas

its a pretty sweet truck has alot of power and room and me being 6'4 i need the extra room

 

Hey paul when you hooked up your aeroforce gauge did you have to hook up the extra power hook up to get the gauge to turn on when you turn your car on? cause the only way mine will go on if i unplug it and plug it back in.

yeah there's a jumper in the back of the gauge you need to move and run a key on power source from the fuse block. The newer gauges will work off the OBDII port, but I've always had random issues with them. There is a new setup menu to get em to work like that, I just really haven't messed with one.

They are stockers, I honestly have never tried to hook them up in a non SS so I don't really know for sure.

 

Nice pick up Drew. When I saw Dodge I thought you were going to say Caliber lol. I knew what type of car just not the make.
