anyone heading up to the bald hill car show tomorrow? its from 8am to 4pm

 

im down! im off work and holy crap i can finally meet up with some cobalt ppl... i went to bald hill on tuesdays for 2 months summer 08 and i rarely saw more than 1 or 2 cobalts i was sad...

 

on a sunday? **** I'ma wash my whip and head on down.

 

turns out i can't escape work after all... showered up, washed the car, and my manager called to remind me i had picked up a shift, greaaaat! hope ya'll had fun.

and any1 know a silver tc in the ronkonkoma area?? wingless tc as of a few days ago he told me, nice guy. he knows where i work tho, kinda creepy lol... jk

Mike i like the low, but i gotta say your struts are going to hate you and they will not last long at all. You could always pick up some coilovers and modify them to go lower.

I am going to go lower (still have some room on the coils)...

 

whoa whoa whoa, modify them to go lower? explain please I am thrilled to hear this. I think I will hate my struts more than they will hate me. saabaru comin' thru. did you change the height? looks really nice man.

Well for the rears you can always just remove the perches completely. Now i am not sure how low this will get you but certainly lower than the advertised height in the back.

Now on the BC Racing setup you can actually remove the lower body of the coils. You can cut and re weld on the brackets so you can go lower. Or before you go doing that you can call up bc racing and request a shorter spring.

 

I know with my coil overs I can almost put the car on the ground, I", tucking tire front and rear already with still almost half the adjustment available

 

Pauls car is pretty dumped on the ksports. Def as low as you are with your cut springs.

 

wtf they said it only dropped 3 inches. oh well. I guess bc racing will do whatever as long as you throw some cash at em. which...chopped springs cost me nothing. it's not that bad of a ride so I'll just drive like a grandma til I can cop some real coils. keeps me out of trouble anyway. thanks for the info guys.

 

yeah I probably have another 2 inches + of drop left to play with if I ever decide to go that low.

I've been working a lot man sorry. fixed my wheel bearing today, finally got new front tires yesterday. just replaced the cooper zeon zpt 215/45's. I was gonna stretch some 195/45's but couldn't afford all 4. I demand to get harassing phone calls and text messages about every meet on long island every night again!

**** so I had to roll my fenders today cuz of the new tires. can't fully turn the wheel anymore without rub. gotta do something about the inner lining. I think it's...wait nope it's never too low.
