everyone at work is getting laid off in different times...bad economy+bad management dont mix well, so there goes people lifes and future plans out the door and start over again from scratch

I work in the private banking industry mainly Operations. Ive actually gotten a couple of offers in other banks. But...

The thing is though which is very unfortunate and pulls me back home is that my mother was recently disgnosed with cancer and i have to be back home to support the family and her ofcourse.

These are rough times, which is why i have to change all my plans completely, we all know family comes first, cars, fun, everything else can wait.

 

I hear you man I went through the same thing, when I was recently in LI the woman I was living with came down with it and threw me out!

Be careful with the route you go for meds a lot of the time the chemo and rad just make things worse your ruin the quality of life. Hopefully its not stage 4 or 5
