taking the monte apart in a little while, either the timing chain broke, or jumped a tooth, or the distributer gear is fucked..... or computer is dead. will find out soon so stay tuned.
and no the ******* balt is not finished yet, haven;t even heard back from them all week, starting to really get unhappy here.

I haven't bought anything new in the last couple months. You guys have just seen me in the small build of my car. It should finally be done next week and tuning is a constant process. You guys should know that. How long have you guys been working bugs out of your cars?
I just hope you guys are ******* around just thugging some more. I don't have a problem. It's just SS/SC vs. SRT battle.

ok well so far, put motor at top dead center, both #1 valves are closed so I don't think it's the timing chain, starting to lean towards distributor or computer, which both will be removed tomorrow anyway so hopefully that fixes it. Also going to replace the timing chain anyway since the one thats on there is pretty loose. And on another note, I actually blew out a pressed in plug off the carb yesterday I guess since there is a nice hole through the carb. ******* computer controlled quadrajets..... you will rue the day you fucked with BCP. Bitch is gettin old schooled this weekend. no more computer, no more computer controlled timing, no more shitty carb. Got some nice new parts goin in... plus the nitrous so fun shall be had again soon.

 

Hope everything works out with the Monte for ya. How did the pulley swap go for the other guy? Did the puller function properly?

 

actually it was the easiest pulley swap I've ever done, I knew things were going to well. We had to go pick up another torx bit, and that's when I realized the monte was dead

yup suxs. Swapping out the carb, distributer, timing chain, and ripping out the comp tomorrow so hopefully it's one of those things and the car runs again. hopefully
