How much worse could it have gotten?

 

Damn no activity in here since 1:30 pm.

 

It' gotten worse. Still haven't dialed in the carb completely yet since my friend was using it on his vette with a bad distributer so all the adjustments were completely out of whack (It's running extremely rich). got my vacuum tuning gauge with me today at work to dial it in better. It's runs great accelerating and WOT but still has a stutter at light part throttle cruising. (I also don't have a timing light, so I did that by ear)

 

Damn. Atl east it's running i would have been stuck with that big ass paper weight.

On another note. If anyone is good at welding, or know a shop that is. Please let me know. I need to get my car out ASAP, and I just can't wait on these guys anymore. Mike (trix) was down there today and my car is still just sitting in the same condition with the windows open getting dirty as **** (over a month now). I'm about 2 minutes away from completely losing my temper and going ape ****. so please anyone that can help let me know. I want to tow my car out of there by Friday if possible.

paul im pretty sure my friend who is doing up his scion...his friend knows how to weld n ****, his friend has a shop..he's gotta....also that dash kit is for 85 and up..its 3.36 plus tax...ill ask him for u when i go into work 2morrow.i dnt have his cell phone number...kool?

 

sounds good man. I gotta try and see if I can get some of my money back since I'm ******* completely broke right now. Ask him how much he would charge to weld a downpipe, and my intake adapter. Everything else is pretty much finished. Actually screw the intake adapter, I'll just use that gutted s/c I have and a block off plate. So I really need done is the exhaust and the oil feed and return lines. everything else I can pretty much fab up with the parts I have.

 

I may know a couple people for you Paul. I just don't know what kind of money they will want. I'll see if i can find out for you.

 

Let me know... cause pretty much anything is over my budget right now lol. Damn monte. I dunno, may just buy another s/c and scrap this whole cobalt bullshit all together. Put it back to stock, and just rock it like that. Get my money back, put it into the monte where it belongs and call it a day. Some one find me an s/c cheap lol.

well you know what, **** it. I'll probably just part out most of the aftermarket **** on my car, sell my spare motor, pistons, and other random **** I got. After today, I've had enough and am probably going to put it to my equivalent of stage II and call it quits. So I'll let you guys get first dibs on whatever I got.

I have had a few sour experiences with CA as well. Even though everything has been worked out i still feel as if he doesn't really care too much about the community.
