Carlisle Performance and Style May 11-12 2013 Thread
well we have the opportunity to do this again for the carlisle GM show. The event manager there emailed me and asked if we would be interested in having our club at that show we need 25 people thou to get a tent

i'm curious to see if the new event manager for GM keeps the same judging team or gets someone else. that will most likely decide whether we're going to GM this year or not. lol

agreed...and i know with the oc show, everybody always says they're going, then like half actually show up...
uhm, it's something to do lol it's longer, if you have an indoor invite, you have to be there thursday for GM. but there aren't near as many cars as there used to be and i partially blame that on the judging, as a lot of those guys with older cars are hardcore headhunters - they mean business - and partially on the fact that the old event manager didnt change things up at all. there were ALOT people unhappy with last year's judging, so we'll see.
when i ran for FCOTM, someone was like "all your awards you listed are 2nd. why even list them?" and something about how thats not 1st or whatever. well, thats because i go against him all the damn time! when he's feeling generous, he'll ride with me and give me a shot lol
anyway, i'm not sure how they're going to be judging the indoor showcases this year. havent heard/seen anything...but in years past the Tuned in T and Ice House and all that stuff was judged together, every car in each of the buildings was against each other for like best domestic, best import, best of show, blah, blah, blah...but with all the different buildings this year, i'm hoping they judge each building separately. top 3 in each building would be nice? we shall see! lol

Hey so I am coming from the Maryland area but think meeting before going into the show would be cool, I'm sub'd to see when/where, and I switched my club over to us from ihatestickers so I'll be at the tent with everyone.
