yea it was about 3 weeks ago now, IMO.... only run if you feel like it. you might be able to better your times but do you really want to try it. i mean, look at what happened to me

 

35$!!! thats why I normally go up on a friday or a wednesday night, lol. 15$ waaay better. but its gonna be lots of fun none the less

I agree with ya, but Fridays are a bitch! too many cars!! Wednesdays are great, but this is a weekend event due to the majority of people working M-F. I know I couldn't make it down there by at least 730pm from my work with traffic, etc.

yea i'll be there, most likely.

Saturdays are much better because within the first 1.5 hours you're there you can have 4-6 runs in as where on Friday night... you might get 2 runs because of all the retards that come out.

 

You get what you pay for... Saturdays the track is fully prepped with no BS four wheelers and **** running spilling oil and gas all over the track.

 

this is why I pay the extra $20!!!

 

huh, I never thought of it that way. When I went on wednesday night late in the year last year, almost nobody was there! it was suppose to rain and it didnt that day there was only 20-25 cars and I ran my car about 14 times! alittle too much abuse. learned from that.

 

yeah, wednesdays are typically pretty good there, but track prep and turnout is usually at it's lowest on saturdays at the ass crack of dawn.

Friday nights are wretched. I would never go there again. I went with my one buddy and he ran once in 2 hours!!

Plus prep was disgusting.

If I do race, I'll be the guy with blue painter's tape masked over the front portion of his car. Last time I was at the track I spent 3 hours cleaning all the dead bugs off from going 110mph

Yes, go ahead and call me a girl, but tons of people do it, and it makes my life a hell of a lot easier once I get home and pull tape off instead of elbow greasing the crap out of my headlights and front bumper

 

well they fixed the lip and bumper and put another intercooler in it. but it still leaks boost. If its not fixed by saturday im gonna run it, but most likely be experiencing anywhere between 10-13psi when run hard (redline shifts) If I shift earlier and the boost isnt already there from 1st and 2nd gear, it's over... lol.

Be interesting to see what I run with a permanent little bov constantly open somewhere...

nah, posted about this before. Driving two work two weeks after I bought the car and the douche in front of me runs over the largest chunk of debris without giving me a single notion it by using his breaks (he sped up instead). And the debris get launched at my car and takes out the lip and the intercooler and hits the side of the car where the bumper meets the fender. All is fixed and looks good again but I still have boost problems?

I work saturday night and im going to an open house up that way around 1pm, so it works for me
