There's supposed to be a LeMans in the next year or so downtown. It's going ot be pretty damn sweet. What I've read was the race will primarily utilize Pratt, Light, Conway and Russell streets and have 180+mph straightaways. Can you imagine that?? 180mph down Pratt St. ******* RIGHT!!

summit point is harpers ferry,WV area. about 2 hours away. good track for learning road coarses....alot of classes you can take. look into Friday at the track.
new jersey motorsports park is another awsome, new tracks. 2 tracks there. both great tracks. they also do driving schools but you would have to look into what and when. never did any car racing there. only karts on both tracks...
besides that, and autoX. your pretty much stuck on those. but not a bad couple tracks to be stuck with.
If Virginia international raceway wasnt so far away id rec. that to you, but its a good 6 hour drive.

You could also check with the SCCA. I looked at joining up because the rates they have for track days where cheaper and the runs where on the weekends (Sat& Sun).
