Well I didn't get the cobalt this weekend. I want to cry. I haven't heard from the guy in 2 weeks! WTF is that? He called me 2 sundays ago saying that he would be home last weekend, and we would be all set to do this on the 29th (yesterday) now my cav has 4 days left on Ebay and it has 2 bids on it. So within a week or so, I MIGHT be carless lol.......

Ok, i know i sound like a noob for asking this but... i changed out the downpipe on my ss/sc on last friday. its the XTC 2.5 inch version without the cat. now i have a check engine light... is that a common thing and do i just disconnect the battery to wipe the ecu or is it a bigger issue?

well if you didnt delete the error code for the 2nd o2 with HPTuners then the code is because you have NO cat, the 2nd o2 is reading no change in the emissions over the 1st o2 sensor....

 

Yes it's a common thing. Anytime you get rid of a cat, you will get a CEL.
Your car will run fine it's just the CEL gets annoying.

What I've noticed through meets is that people talk/type ALOT more when they are behind a computer screen. When you meet them in person, most are very shy....I'm the loud obnoxious one, that's me....lol
