Is there anyone from CT that knows of any good places to get mods done. You know; places that don't hesitate when you ask about installing something as simple as an intake.

 

there is a place in waterbury Jannety's but he is mad expensive, quoted 700 for a tune on hp tuners with my software!

 

Depending on what he was doing, that may have been worth it. I think the best tuner would be stumped with the LSJ though. Its a tricky little piece of GM engineering.

 

I hear ya doc but I have paid 3-400 for dyno tunes on ls1's and such 700 is WAY too high....

 

well what do you exactly want done cuz theres alot of places that i know of in ct.

 

XX Tuning in East Hartford is a good place. I say do your own work if possible though.

 

I guess what I am looking for is a place that specializes in modifying vehicles ie. intakes all the way up to forced induction.

 

theres a place in waterbury on south main that orders parts and will do some install depending on what you want done. the name of it is all 4 show. there theres gravels on thomaston ave going towards riders cafe from colonial ave in waterbury that does autobody work. theres moraro motorsports in waterbury that my buddy gets everything from. or this place called sos in southbury (i believe) .
