my car is done for the year. i put it away early this year sence i drove it around the country this summer and put over 10k on it. but ill still go to meets just in my blazer lol.

 

Just got back from the SMG dyno day. Saw a bunch of nice cobalts, a few supra's, a skyline and a twin turbo mustang. I put down 223whp and 195 wtq which I am very happy with with just an intake and cat back.

 

where has everyone been? well looks like my G5 is back out on the road for alittle longer. my little brother got his license and he has no car and i no at 16 all i wanted to do was drive. so i let him take my blazer to go around town in and to take to school.

 

I'm still around lol. That sucks about your car having to stay out longer then planned but at least it isn't hard core winter yet. I washed my car today, since it was so nice out.

We should do some kind of before winter meet. Ideas?

 

yea i take it out of the garage the other night i drive down the road and now my front drivers side brake is hiting the rotor and sounds like hell. so i pulled the tire off and my pads and rotors are trashed. now im trying to find rotors and pads that are good. any ideas?

I dk whats good but I always see brake pads and stuff listed in the vendor sale area on the front page. Maybe you can find something there. Are you looking to upgrade or stock replacement?

has anyone tinted there tailights? does anyone know someone that can do them? i wouldnt even bother attempting it as i have zero skill when it comes to cosmetic stuff. any kind of input/direction would be appreciated.

Search in the how-to section. I seem to remember at least one good write up on how to do it. All it really takes is patience; it doesn't seem too hard.

 

So I need to put some new Sneakers on the car still have the stock OEM Pirellis and they are pretty much racing slicks. Was woundering what you guys have for all seasons and what do you suggest. Was looking at the Goodyear Eagle GTs.

 

When I bought my car they had put cooper zeon tires on there, brand new. I can't really compare but they do well in dry and wet conditions. But as will all cobalts traction sucks, I spin 1st and 2nd if its wet and I step on it.

 

My friend has people ship their lights or drive from Mass and NJ and all around the area for him to do theirs lol. He charges like $25 I think... Needless to say, he's pretty BA at it, did a fine job on mine.. lives in Durrrham. pm me if you want more info I guess?

 

tinted my own and i have to say they came out nice, ill do them for you if you'd like. i have a picture of them in my gallery before i buffed them, now they look even sexier

 

i just put my car away too. Its sitting in the garage until May. I will be driving my Blazer all winter also. So weird we have the same cars! Although next spring the cobalt is going buh-bye and hello camaro!!

 

haha yea i had to pull my g5 back out because my little brothers been driving my blazer. so im driving my car but it needs brakes bad so im just going to wash it tomorrow and park it. sorry little bro get your own car haha.

You have the opposite of them, a base cobalt and custom blazer. All you need to do is trade that Balt in for a SS and then you will be in business.
