Anyone have a one or two car garage semi-local to the Hamden area? Would be nice to know if I could rent out your area for a day or two to tackle serious mods if the occasion arises. The townhouse my girlfriend and I will most likely be renting just offers regular parking and no garages. Worst case scenario I'm only an hour and a half from my dads house if I need a garage to use.

 

Haven't been accepted yet and haven't sent in my application yet. I've already ordered the course catalog and application forms. Just waiting on the mail.

so i went on craigslist last night (hartford) and holy **** to the amount of cobalt ss s/c for sale right now check it out

 

Seeing as how basically no one ever compliments someone driving a cobalt, he probably assumed you were just being a sarcastic dick..

I get ask tons of questions about my car. From people asking what it is to saying how nice it is have even been flagged down in a parking lot once because they wanted to no the name of the color. Perks of owning a car that is built off a car everyone knows but know one knows about the g5.

 

Well last night wasnt too bad, ended up being a bit above even. Played Roulette for a while and won around 200$, Played Blackjack and stayed even maybe +20-30 over, and piggy backed a 500$ bet in craps and won. After the food drinks and random asian games that i lost at came home with 150$ more than what i started with

 

I get tons of comments on my Ion from asking about the doors to asking what the third pedal is for. Unless I'm talking to Hondatards, Everyone compliments how nice it looks.

 

I was kind of just joking with Kevin, but at the same time that pretty surprising that you get asked about you car all the time. I mean, just speaking for myself of course, my car is not at all flashy by any means, but it's clean, dropped, has a big ol hunkin intercooler hanging in the front bumper and looks solid, yet compliments are very few and far between due to the simple fact of it being a cobalt. Maybe I just hang around a different crowd than you..

Same with my car, ONCE in a GREAT GREAT while. Ill get someone who says nice car, or theyll ask what kinda car it is and just nod or something but even with the paint color I have, dropped, the hood, headlights interior etc etc, even at car shows, I rarely get any compliments at all. Im going to have to move to manchester. John you and me would be gods up there.

 

Ya nothing personal man but I don't see that happening. Also if by third pedal you mean the clutch pedal, then I have never heard of anyone being like "Ooo nice pedal man, it looks awsome what is it?" Haha

Last week actually me and this girl went out and when we came back to the dorm her friend was outside in the parking lot and when me and the girl got out of my car her friend said "nice car" but I wasnt sure if she was being sarcastic so I just walked by her hahah.

 

**** man, your car honestly looks far nicer than mine, so if you don't get many compliments on your car then we're all freakin screwed.... lol
