I've had my blower of before, just watch the gasket and the little locator pins around a few of the bolt holes. Also I just unbolted my throttle body to avoid unplugging all of that stuff.

thanks, im happy too. the mrs and my schedules got changed so we dont ride in together anymore so I woulda been screwed finding rides to work and whatnot. but for now thats all set
That sucks man! Didn't you say the blower started making some funky noises a few months back though?
Pulling the blower really isn't all that bad though. Just be careful with the 4 fasteners holding down the blower. The heads are super easy to strip out of you're not careful. As far as the tensioner belt goes, I've usually have pretty good luck with a good pry bar but again you just need to be careful. Also be sure to not forget to disconnect the throttle body harness connector before you pull the blower off..

Definitely don't use wd40 for a belt squeal!! lol
If you're going to use anything, use belt dressing. Honestly it sounds like you killed the belt when the blower seized on you though so i would just replace it with a gms2 belt.

It could be a few things. Either too much accessory draw (something is become too hard to move in the accessory drive system), the tensioner is no good, or you flat out wore the belt out. In your case it sounds to me like the belt has run its course due to when the blwoer siezed it basically reemed out the belt grooves to the point where they are too deep and aren't making good surface contact with the pulley ribs. Serpenitine belts rely on good surface contact over all of the ribs/grooves in the system to basically maintain traction throught the accessory drive system. If the gooves become too deep and the ribs get burnt up a little too far the belt will absolutely slip. What makes diagnosing a worn sepentine belt a little tricky is the fact that the belt will "look fine" upon inspection, unless you have a depth gauge tool to measure how worn the belt really is.
Sorry for the long explination man.. lol

Actually got a video of it last night with my cell leaving work.

When I would blurp the throttle it would die for a second and come back, when ideling is when it was quietest, when driving is when it became the loudest.
Im going to order a new S2 belt tomorrow, along with new blower oil to change for ***** and giggles. ( unrelated but something I want to make sure she has )

i had the belt on my truck squealing one time, it was just worn out with small cracks in the ribs, etc that lead to it. I'm sure the seize of the supercharger didn't help things. I'd throw the new one on, and order a tensioner if needed.
