thats not what ive heard/seen there was a guy running around my area who destroyed his piston rings nls'ing all the time. yeah some people destroy the tranny as well but the piston rings are too close together thats the problem they expand too much

 

That's not from NLS, that's from running the **** out of it.

I only nls 3rd to 4th ppl break the tranny when trying to nls 2nd to 3rd while the car is still spinning which is bad news

 

theres a thread on hptuners of an lnf blowing up from being tuned and nls...i thought it was valve issues tho.. either way ive heard the same story and i tell every lnf i do any kinda of tune.. that i dont reccommed no lift shift after ta tune

 

thats the only thing i dont like about the tune because thats my favorite part, and n a side not i went to my local chevy dealer and they had like 20 cruzes it was crazy

 

yeah it does suck that its frowned upon nls once your tuned, i hardly do it and like i said earlier i only do it from 3rd to 4th.
