Question exhaust for stage two upgrade

which exhaust would privide better berformance than stock while keeping the noise level down?

I really like the GM performance parts touring exhaust , i had the sport version and it was too loud , sold it , bought the touring and the sound is great .

GMPP touring, but it's not stainless steel. I say buy a stainless catback and get a quiet muffler welded onto it.

This is in GM's description of the touring exhaust.

T304 stainless steel construction, mandrel-bent tubing
