Island Dragway NJ Friday Mar. 31st
Ok, so HOPEFULLY the plan is for me to pick up my car from the shop Friday morning. It has been there since January 28th. If I can get the car Friday, I"m going to Island Dragway in Hackettstown NJ to get my first 1/4 mile runs in with this car. Just wanted to see if anyone else was interested in going. I think the deal this Friday is if you buy a spectator pass you race for free. Then like $10 to rent a helmet if you don't have one.

You cant just buy a specatator pass. You have to but the race pass too, because they give you a ticket that you need for the teching. Iv'e been there before. It won't work, but I really would like to go. What time do you plan on trying to go?

I'll be going down there EARLY so I can get my runs in before it gets seriously packed. Assuming I can pick my car up in the morning, I'll probably be there around 6 or 7. Should be an interesting night.

Looks like pikachu may not be ready in time.
Why? You might be asking yourself. Well let me explain. I called the body shop on Wednesday to see if it was ready like they told me it would be. I took off work so if it was ready, I could go pick it up. Apparently the car is all back together, painted, tested, codes cleared, etc. However, there are a few pieces on backorder. Well what could be left, I asked myself. There is a silver strip over my glovebox...that is on backorder. Also, another piece of plastic by the back passenger side window is on backorder. Thus, I am unable to drive my own car after over two months because of some ******* plastic that is on back order.
I'm done...good luck to u guys who go to the track. I'll be sitting at home and fondling myself to pictures of my car

Dude, I just got my car back today. I had it back like 2 weeks ago but they forgot to fix a worn wheel bearing. So I gave it back to them last Friday and just got it back this morning. You will get it soon. Hopefully.
