Hey everyone, i'm going to be going to Island Dragway on 6/13, having BYT do some fine tuning on my car and enjoy the test and tune. Heres the address:

you getting new wheels or getting them powdercoated?

 

New wheels and tires. No traction on the stock ones. Haha

 

I went with Hankook V12s myself. Met one guy at Lebanon Valley that had a turbo SS with the same tires. So far i like them and ended up getting them for slightly under $500 including install. What tires and wheels did you go with?

 

Black Ultraleggeras with KDW2s. Bunch of my friends had them and loved them so I figured I'd give them a shot.

 

You definately gotta go than, i wanna see those ultraleggeras in person.

On a side note, im also going to Lebanon Valley in NY the day before, Saturday. I got a buddy with an 06 f-350 with full bolt-ons and tune, another guy with a maxima running nitrous and water/meth and prossibly a 4 wheeler and tundra going too. Trying to spark interest for Saturday.

how much does it cost to go, and what safety equipment do you need to run, maybe I will go, i dont have any plans...

Well went to Lebanon on Sat. and cut a 13.1, best E.T. to date. After three runs, got rained out. Never went to Island dragway, not worth driving 3.5 hours to get rained out.

 

I gotta keep my eye out for posts like this. I'm always up for a trip to Island.

Usually it's $25 to race. $5 (plus $10 refundable deposit) to rent a helmet if you need one. Island is pretty lax when it comes to tech, but usually all you need is a helmet until you start getting into serious mods. I think if you replace the turbo, or fuel, you need a fire jacket. I think they follow IHRA rules.

 

Tomorrow night is wed night family night!!! $15 for BBQ (lots of food!!!) and all the races you can get it!! Last time i got 16 races and ate 3 Cheeseburgers 2 hotdogs and a plate of pasta!! I also let my car cool for about 45mins!! definitely worth it!!

Yea, BBQ nights are the best! It's cheaper than Friday or Sunday, AND you get free food!

Next Wednesday June 30th is another BBQ Family Night...$15 for food and racing, you just can't beat it. Hopefully I will be out with my car and my dad might come along with his Nova
