Mother of god...

Freakin' dealership doesn't have any better luck w/ my car than I do.

Got the armature off and drilled for a 1/4 - 1-1/4 grade 8 bolt, but then when they went to drill out the cylinder coming from the transmission, they couldn't. Aparently it's hardened steel and he went through 5 drill bits w/o even making a mark on the thing. So this morning I drove out to Home Depot and bought him a Cobalt drill bit that should be hard enough to drill through the hardened steel. We'll see how he makes out when they call this afternoon.

If not, he already ordered another armature and roll pin to put the thing back together stock so I can drive it at least. Unfortunately, the roll pin is on back order, which leads us to believe they revised the design but we won't know until we actually get one...

Tried, just wasn't easy considering I was using a point and shoot w/ poor lighting. You don't need pics once you see it. Everything either fits or it doesn't. Not too complicated...

You have NO IDEA!! I have been told that I should have gained close to 30hp from just the tune. That's how bad these are de-tuned from the factory. She's like a whole new beast man.

Good to hear you guys are making progress w/ the 08 mods. My bro was out pricing 08's this weekend. He got one dealership w/ a 3SS down to 33K before trade-in. I hope my sister-in-law doesn't shut him down, cause his C4 vette can't keep up w/ me and I need a challenge...

Eh, you could run all over me right now considering I still have the stock Pirelli's on w/ the stock suspension...

My car is prob no faster than stock out of the whole. 2nd and 3rd gear is where I'd have to play "catch-up..."

I have 4:10 gears, so I would expect to take you from a dig. I don't see as to why anyone with a TBSS would want to run from a roll. The Cobalt has always been a top end beast though, I have no doubt that yours would give me a run higher in the gears. You should smoke me from a roll too. lol..

None of that bothers me though, just as long as I'm getting beat by a cool dude, and by another GM.

Tell him, 1,000 and he has a deal.. Just messin. I don't think that sounds all too bad. Doing the valves and springs is fairly involved from my understanding.

Yeah, that's a decent deal. I think it cost me $1900 to have my head taken off and fixed when my valve spring failed and I didn't get a P&P w/ that...
