Thumbs down Lay off suck!

So I was wondering if anyone had any part-time work in the Harrisburg area that they need someone for? I got laid off today because work is slow and Im just looking for some work to do in the mean time. I have a degree in collision repair work but I can do lots of stuff. If you can help me out please let me know.

While it doesn't pay nearly what you're used to, this is the time of year when demand goes up for shipping/delivery and retail help.

Best of luck to ya. I got laid off in April so I know how much that news sucks.

Try C&S Wholesale grocer...I hear they're easy to get into and the pay is good.

C&S wholesale i believe starts at 10 for training and then you get a raise the more boxes you load

try UPS and FedEx as managers, or try theres a couple warehouses "lasco" i know my ex made i want to say 10 at start, and "Fleetwood" (theyre hard to get into) he made 14 at start? there's also another one on that road forget the name they are all on Industrial Road in elizabethtown off of rt 230.. uhm if you try hospitals they usually have positions open for mantience.. some pay good..

Good luck

Hey thanks for the advise guys. They told me it "shouldn't" be more than 2 weeks but we all know how that goes. For now I'm just keeping busy doing cheap stuff on the balt and helping my uncle out with his towing business. Ill keep you all updated on the situation.

That sucks to hear, our bussiness is at a all time low and we are worried that there may not be much after the job I am on for a few months. Unemployment for AR is something like max $300 dollars a week and that is less than .25 of may pay I hope it doesn't go that far.
