Well the thing is, John (gremlin85) is going on vacation so tuning you would be hard to do without his computer/expertise. He is probably one of the best in the MA area for this with HPtuners but what exactly are you looking to get done? I could at least give you a idea time wise and cost wise of what it would be for us to install the parts and give ya tune!

Changing a Modular ZZP 3.0 to a 2.8, GM performance clutch kit/new OEM flywheel, install meth kit, install 2 gauges, install ZZP Heat exchanger and dual pass, injectors and harness. I think thats mostly everything.. And then there is a Catback install (if i dont have time to), and then tune

Gremlin will be gone on the Mod day? Or you mean in the time before that day?

I was referring to John tuning before mod day sorry lol. He will be there for Mod day so doing the tune would not be an issue at all. The dual pass won't be too hard but if you are doing all those cooling mods, I would suggest picking up one of the phenolic spacer for the intake since we have to take the intake off to do the dual pass. But if you want to just do the dual pass it shouldn't be an issue. Also the cat back wouldn't be bad at all. Do you already have a header and down pipe installed? What cat back do you have?

If you want the clutch done as well, it would take more than two days for everything (I noticed you added that a second ago lol) If you wanted to do the performance mods one weekend, we could get the clutch done the following week.

Definitely do! The clutch alone would take a day or so as long as everything goes ok. Something like that we would do on our own and charge you whatever it takes. The other stuff is pretty easy for the most part, just time consuming especially routing the HE and dual pass so it doesn't kink anywhere and flows correctly.

Feel free to pass the name along! We are trying to make a name for ourselves!

I will have one at the end of this month since I'm swapping my entire exhaust. I know there are a bunch of guys that have switched over to ZZP stuff so maybe they will chime in for ya if you need it quicker.

With that you would need the whole manifold and downpipe all together. You could always get the Cat code killed by John when he does the tune.

^ yah i now, and im going to . was looking to get a sticker in the mean time. i think i read that he wont be able to make it to the 16-17th mod days.

right now i have no code, havent for over 2 months, but the readiness monitor isnt resetting, so i cant pass for a sticker.

i was just thinking, i know it would KILL performance, but i have an 06 LS sitting in my gargae waiting for me to put a motor in. i could just steal the manifold and DP off of that for a week or two to get it to pass!

You could go on ebay and buy a 90degree o2 spacer 18x1.5mm then you won't have to worry about swapping pipes every year for inspection. My car was thowing the same code with a bad mab and 3" catted dp and it hasnt come back since i installed it.

I just killed my rear O2 sensor through HPtuners. I don't have to bother with any of the defoulers or anything now.

is troubleshooting included in this mod day? Im throwing this damn p2101 code and I can figure it out.

And someone who does tuning that could look over my tune? seem to be running a bit rich.

Tuning (looking over is free but changes are not) and diagnostic are not including in the $25 mod day but it's only $60 for any diagnostic. That's probably $30-$50 cheaper than going to the dealer or anyone else in the area. WE are here to help! Let me know when you would like to come by. Mod days aren't the only day that we will be available. I am very local to the shop (10mins away) so any weekend is open to me!

Awesome! For everyone coming, don't forget to join the even through facebook!

Saturday is going to be interesting from what I can see. Can't really tell whos coming and doing what quite yet. I will have to close up a bit earlier than usual, around 5 instead of our "whenever we get done" time lol. I have plans for 7:30 so everything's gotta be done! I will be there nice and early in the morning so the sooner people get there, the better.
