Just got off the phone with Kathy, lady working on my car at Williams. She said the Ignition cylinder is not a recall and would not listen to what I have to say about Recall # 10256... I printed this document out and will present it to her tomorrow. lol.

She did say that she was willing to, by the good graces of her powers, warranty the work even though im outside of warranty. I simply said thank you and that will be that. I will get the car tomorrow. They will also take care of the powersteering recall.

Got that exhaust leak fixed, had to go to the dealer for the gasket since all the "muffler" shops around the base either dont keep parts instock or can't sell the pieces with out doing the work. Auto Zone just said "we can't get parts for that car"..... its a damn exhaust gasket, they are universal sizes. Tune in 2 weeks and I can't wait, just hope it's safe to drive like this for 2 weeks, just gotta keep off the gas!!

ya gotta love it when the service manager gives you a "good will" warranty repair after ur 3/36 runs out. My old manager "goodwilled" a lot of repairs at bob bell when I was a svc advisor

Btw, with the broken plastic piece, is the knee bolster or steering column cover loose?

So now I need a muffler, found a hole in the middle of it. Might just go to midas and have one thrown on until I can get a cat-back. So much for wanting to keep the cat-back stock...

Yeah, I check thats, its not loose. It looks like a plastic tab or could be a piece that snaps the plastic panels together. No idea, Im sure i will figure out where it came from eventually.

I will say that the new powersteering motor makes funny crunching noises on cold start. When I turn the wheel in the morning I can hear it but not actually sure where its coming from... almost sounds like its coming from my springs and struts area in the front. Maybe something that happened during the tow under there?

Never trust dealers. I'm still not 100% sure that they fixed my dipstick problem considering how hard it is to get my dipstick out, they didn't put the lower manifold bolt in when they put the intake manifold back on and they screwed up my tensioner pulley since the actual tensioner is no good. Good news though, I don't need a muffler!! The hole is a drain for moisture and water.....i'm an idiot.

Man don't hate the dealer because the one you went to hacked up your **** you just got to know where to take and who to get to work on it that's why I said to bring it to me at my dealer but I understand I'm not that close for you but hey

cmon joe...ya gotta understand, when you get work done in shops there is almost always extra parts left over that were originally on the car....weather it is a nut/bolt, clip lmao

Atleast you didnt take urs in to have a radio installed THAT THEY ALREADY ORDERED and they put 2 miles on it test driving it like they did mine a few weeks back. Especially since that is all it was there for and no multi point inspection or anything
