I checked it it seems fine I have a quarter tank of gas so if it really was the cap I thought it would have came on when I first got gas but yesterday it threw p0497 and today its p0455 I am trying to look up now how to trouble shoot it and what to check stuff like that

 

its gonna blow up lol but i had that problem with my dads and it just went away randomly

 

It probably will lol this car and all these damn sensors like the check tire pressure light flashed ans then it was like check gas cap then CEL

 

maybe your car just doesnt like you

 

Maybe oh well better get its act together before I get rid of it

 

I bet its the Evap Purge Solenoid or the Purge Valve...

 

yeah i saw that online is that easy to replace??

idk how to check to even see if its bad or not but the parts are really cheap like $10-$15 a piece

 

unplug it and see if it gets better

 

the car isn't performing bad at all everything is running fine so idk why its throwing the code maybe it really is going back i will try to unplug it and re-plug it in

The solenoid is easy dunno about the valve.

 

guys this is a common issue, go buy the valve unplug two hoses and a connector plug in and boom done. Or just leave it alone and deal with start up hesitation after fill ups.

you have no idea -_- we usually leave around 4:45 and its not all that bad but 5 is almost unbearable
