see i told my bf that he is going with me... doing something different for once instead of going to the movies and out to dinner like usual.

Just a thought -- is everyone coming over 21? I haven't had time to have a SINGLE damn beer in forever. Just one. Any bars in the area?

I have a feeling if it's as gray and cold as it is right now, we might want to seek shelter lol...

 

I will also be square. Heading out of town at 5 for the weekend. Have a good meet though... and better yet... have a good auto-x on Sunday. Be safe and do us proud!

 

um yes, i would like to second that one, beer is definitely going to get consumed by me. im sure there is a bar around there somewhere, everywhere you go there is a bar and if not you keep going till you find one.

 

Sounds good to me, I've had a rough week and need to unwind. I don't know about bars. There's Hooters (might make Karla's boyfriend more excited to go hang out with us). Um. Let me call some friends and see what's around. I figure maybe a restaurant/bar type of place might be better cause not everyone will want to drink and/or there may be some under 21 ers around.

 

I won't make it, work. One less sub-21 year old to get in the way.

 

A little further up the road from Hooters is Buffalo Wild Wings (if you continue towards Penn Hills on 22 East, it's in the plaza on the left at the first red light past Hooters). That's usually where I get my chicken and beer on Tuesday nights. I know they have specials on Tuesday nights... so they might have something on special tonight. Pretty decent sized bar area... and suitable for those who aren't 21 or just aren't drinking.

There's another bar somewhere right off the parkway, but I've only heard about it... never been there. I wanna say it's called Parkway tavern. Not sure about that one though. I think it's more like a strict bar rather than bar/restaurant.

 

im under 21 till august...and ill be home in august...but im currently 360 miles away...booooooo

Well folks.

Lost my job today.

No biggy though. Three weeks pay; I can find something. I was quitting come August, anyway, as I'm heading to grad school.

But I'm job hunting tonight. So, sorry. I'll TRY to make it on Sunday; but as I said in the other forum, I need to KEEP my car before I race it

Have we decided on a place to meet? If all else fails and everyone just shows up at Panera, we can go right over to Damon's and grab some food/drinks.

 

Actually, I have one place I'm going to go check out. As I said, not many financial worries on my end. This happened at the best time (sort of a relief, actually).

However, I'm not spending the next three months idle.

But I will try to make it out on Sunday.
