yup thats right.. one last goodbye to the cobalt, i finally got the car into modified mag. i submitted it 6 months ago.. and now it's in the jan. 2008 issue under readers rides. this is awesome for me.. but sucks that i no longer own the car. the car will now forever be known as mine lol. they may also do a shoot at sshp racing in brockton with the car.. because we still have it here at the dealership. check it out guys.. modified mag is a huge deal for me as it's a huge magazine. thanks everyone.

I dont understand how you could do that, I would have forced a way to do both, somehow. Goo don you for being able to do that. Going back to school licks bag, having to sell a sweet ride so you can go back to school again is even worse.

Good for you, there will be better rides once you get out of school and have enough money that you don't have to drive an econobox. Trust me, you made the right decision and at least you'll always have MM to remember it.

Attn' jerk off - I just said that it would be worth it "to me" to work a way out to pay for both. As far as debt, were talking about a 4 cyl chevy, which if taken care of, will still be drivable when you graduate... either way, pay for a car now, or pay for one later who cares. Besides I dont know why i am debating this with you anyhow, I could care less what you think. Were not talking Ferrari payments here...
My only point is that it must suck to sell a car to have to go back to school. How is that an ignorant statement? Its no fun, period. I also stated I respect him for being able to do it....
wheh....

Understood, it's not doable for everyone. I would have seen if I could take an interest free loan from the parents or see what I could do with my student loan, or talk to my bank. I have a great relationship with my bank manager, he has helped me finance the building of several houses, two of which I have on the go now. Its not hard to find an extra few bucks here or there these days... but thats just me. I put myself through college and post grad school with a new car, no mommy daddy silver spoon, sometimes I think everyone can find a way if they work hard enough.
Still, dont get me wrong, I am not saying going back to school is wrong, I am just saying keep the balt'

congrats on making it.
and no he was very smart in saleing the car if he wanted to go back to school. I go to school full time and pay for my car but its only $240 a month due to me having a huge down payment when I bought it $10k. Congrats again man.

yea thanks alot guys.. i allready bought a copy this morning lol. yeah. believe me the last thing i wanted to do was sell the car. the local guys know that car was my life, but sometimes you need to start a new one and i made that choice. getting the car into this magazine just made everything worth it with all my hard work and money invested. know i can go to school, get a better job, and have the money to do it all over again with a different car.
