First thing you should lower your car, trust me it makes such a HUGE difference. I had a base, and I can see you have about the same wheel gap I had. Springs are cheap !!

Def like what you did with yours. Even just that would be enough for me. Well I also plan on having black on black rims. Already went to a place to start on that.

Really looking for other stores and shops in the Jersey area that do not over charge. About how much did you pay to get it lowered?

This is my first car...im really learning about cars only now. Dont really know to much so any help from anyone would be great.

What he said! springs is a great place to start.

I can speak highly of the Eibach sportlines. Great ride.

Want to go not quite so aggressive and for cheap? buy someones Stock SS/SC spings. It will drop your car to SS/SC or at least and 1". Eibach Prokit will drop similar to the Stock SS/SC springs but also a little more in the rear.

i got my rims and tires from Rennen in long island. great company. We made the widebody kit from scratch, (audio xtc and body creations) i also have projectors, custom paint, and about a million other things done to the car. i went full show and go with the car. although completely custom as far as body work and interior i also put a lot of money into my engine.

there are a wealth of parts out there which we carry and trying to add new things all the time.

Why would you say 17's? I also have a boring base cobalt so I am interested in this. I have tint, ss front bumper cover, exhaust tip. I was thinking 18's and lowered, why 17's?

Because the larger the rim...the more wheel spin you will create...and if you plan on seriously racing, you don't want rims any bigger than 17"...even thats pushing it. Also larger rims are generally heavier which will take more force to spin them...so in a sense you'll be faster with smaller rims.

Since I care more about looks, i'll be getting 18's someday .
