I hit a deer last night and it went underneath my car resulting in bending the ac condenser / h/e / radiator / fan assembly. I am leaking coolant because the beer chipped the corner of the fan assembly. All in all i need to replace my ac condenser (bent to death) and the fan assembly. I recently bought a stage 3 ZZP h/e so now would be the time to have it installed. I am more of a computer guy then a mechanic. Ripping the bumper off is not my specialty.

Yes they have.... I installed the new radiator and my stage 3 zzp h/e yesterday. The surgery was successful with only one issue. My car runs 10 degrees hotter. During a normal cruise i would run only 180 now im at 194ish. if i woot i jump to 205. any suggestions?

You probably have air in the system. Did you properly bleed the coolant in the radiator. You are supposed to take the top hose off and fill the engine with coolant. Re install hose and put coolant in the resivoir. Start car hold revs at like 2k for a minute with heat on high Top off resivoir. Repeat a couple more times. these are pretty much the proper steps to bleeding the engine coolant iirc

I will try and bleed the radiator again see if this helps. Thanks

I did this today and I'm still driving at 194ish and if I stop at a light it jumps to 212. I installed a new radiator and stage 3 zzp h/e that's it. Could the zzp be blocking the air flow to the radiator? I do not see why it would I didn't do anything different and I removed the stock h/e for more room on air flow.

They are two different systems so one wouldn't affect the other. You still have air stuck in the coolant system somewhere

The zzp he shouldn't affect the engine coolant temp, I have one and cruising around my engine coolant is 175-180. So the minimal block of airflow is not a problem. Probably still have air in the system, unless for some reason there's something up with the new radiator. Just to make sure you do understand that the engine coolant and heat exchanger system are two different coolant systems and don't share the same coolant?
