New Pittsburgh Balt

Just picked this guy up a couple off weeks ago for a DD.

'09 LS, 5 speed w/ 13k on the clock. I've got some plans for it but nothing too crazy since it will be just a daily and I plan on putting mojority of my spending money into my S10s.

The day I brought it home...

Right off the bat, it got debadged, shorty antena, removed rear head rests, just stupid little stuff. Then I got some new tails and heads.

H&R sports are in the mail.

Come spring, it will get wheels and tires, but no sense in getting them now since winter is right around the corner.

Just to clear up the view out the real a little bit. I'm not a fan of head rests period since I think they clutter up the interior, but the front ones are staying for safety reasons obviously.

I'm out in the Hopewell/Moon area.

Got it on the rack yesterday and installed my H&R sports, and got it alligned. I'm kind of hoping that the ass end settles down a good bit.

Yeah, definately! I work 70 hours a week so it would be kind of hit or miss, but I'll keep an eye on the meet up thread.

From all the reading I've done, I've also decided to order a rotated mount from Powell. Better safe than sorry. Also, since I lowered it, there's a knock in the front passengers side that I need to track down.

Probably. I work at the beer distributor as a second job, so pretty much everyone knows me haha.

Got this in the mail! But I don't think it's right. I'm pretty sure I told Gloria I have a 2.2 LS with a 5 speed but ill have to check tomorrow since I ordered with my work email.

I paid $135ish for it. Idk if I ordered to wrong part, or was shipped the wrong one? Guess ill find out tomorrow.

Yeah idk what sparked them to do that. This thing was bone stock when I got it other that "sport" badges.

Gotta figure out if I'm gonna send my mount back to Powell or just sell it locally before I order the correct one.

Also, just scored a g5 gt rear lip off of eBay. I'm hoping to get a full kit by spring. Just need ss side moulding a and I'll probably end up with a RK front lip.

Havn't been motivated to update in a while.

G5 GT lip showed up and scored some SS side skirts a while back, now just holding out for a nice lip, or an SS front bumper to show up locally.

Also tossed a trunk lid liner in, since mine didn't come with one.

I think I've settled on wheels as well.

Akita AK-35s. They're dirt cheap and pretty decently under budget, so I wouldn't be opposed to getting something similer of higher quality.

Anyone running these? Opinions?
