North NJ meet: gauging interest

I managed to miss the last two Jerzey J meets. I really havn't met any of the cobalt guys in my area (North NJ...around Morristown).

I am proposing a meet around this area at like an applebees, or fridays, or just a parking lot...whatever. Nothing big. Just the guys in the area than can show up one night and all get together. I'd like to see who's around the area with cobalts (especially SS S/C's) and what they are doing to there cars, etc. So, if you are interested, please post and give me an idea of where you'd like to meet. Thanks.

lol...yea, but you are the only one i've met so far. ironic how you have a rally yellow cobalt too.

but the freehold meet i heard was beat and I'm looking to just meet a few local cobalt guys and maybe some half price apps and a beer at applebees.

but Alex...you're more than welcome too. SRT-4 guys are good to meet too. I need to add more cars to my kill list lol

there was like 150 - 200 cars there at the TST freehold meet last weekend. Not many Domestics, like normal. I am interested in cars, not just chevy's. So I can deal with all the WRX's that TST brings. And they bust on RICE just like we do. but you always have the select few that are too ricey even for the import guys

the point is I'm not looking for a car meet. I'm looking to actually meet some of the guys on this forum that own cobalts that are in my vicinity. Freehold is like an hour away from me. I just wanna see who drives a cobalt thats in my area.

he doesn't get it either. At a car meet, you MEET people from the forum. not real difficult to comprehend. we drive from philly to the freehold meet to see people, an hour isn't that far. and you may meet other people that live closer to you that made the drive also.

Go to the local car meet, talk to the people with cobalts.....Go get food , swap numbers, hang out.

well if he waits for people to come to him he will be waiting forever. i have traveled as far as 3 hrs to meet the jersey js and it wound up being worth the drive. its hard to meet people in the immediate area...i live in the boonies so i travel no matter what....deer park avenue which is a main hang out for all car people is an hour from my house. i would take the trip every friday to meet people...
sometimes the drive is worth the gas and time....u will meet some awesome people and gain a lot of friendships.....if i wasnt so busy with work and things on the weekends id be at a meet every weekend if i could.
