Northern/ Central NJ Cobalt and tuner owners please read
If you are familiar with the large car meets that formerly took place on Thursdays at the Bestbuy parking lot in Woodbridge off US 1 I have bad news. Last week a ticket was issued to a show participant and after some harmless boo'ing from the crowd some rowdy spectator threw a water bottle at a police officer, and a whole host of issues resulted. As of tonight the event has been canceled, and 3 of my buddies got tickets a few hours ago. The police blocked off the parking lot, and have singled out all modified vehicles that entered the general area to make u-turns and such. All of us were told to pass on a message: "YOU GUYS ARE NOT WELCOME HERE!"
To anyone who may know the individual who threw the bottle, please let him know I thank him for ruining a good event for roughly 500+ people who act like adults and not jerks. Now if you go there with any kind of modified vehicle, you will be stopped, you will have your ***** busted, and you will recieve a ticket for any and every possible item your in violation of, and I mean any little possible thing. A street legal and noise compliant cat back got my friend a loud exhaust ticket. Its easy to prove wrong but now he has to go through the hassle thanks to one ignorant and inconsiderate jerk. I apologize for the rant but I am tired of one jerk ruining these type of events for the rest of us and screwing everyone else over. Do yourselves a favor and avoid the area along US1 by Bestbuy in woodbridge. The police are out in force, and they are absolutely everywhere. Anything loud, or modified is a big red flashing target to them right now. Hope this helps to prevent anyone else from getting these tickets.

A few of my buddies from school got screwed over bad. Nj's special unit was down there making people pop their hoods and running VIN's off engines and trannys. Couple of em had JDM blocks and got their rides confiscated. This sucks. One ******* ruins a good thing for everyone else.
