talked to the guy from a.s.s and they are going to be going threw some stuff at the shop in june and byt is booked up for may so it doesnt look like its going to be goin down. byt plans on having a dyno at his new shop by july/augest so me and my buddy will prolly just drive down there and get tuned then. once he gets his dyno he will no longer be traveling to tune at other peoples shops.

 

dam that sucks. i might just do trifecta now

i think me and my buddy are planing a trip an hour south of me(albany) to meet up with a trifecta dealer (kevin?? i think his name is). i think this would be the better route for me, bc i can dyno there too

 

Your dyno tune is not a world different than a street tune.. maybe 5 hp difference?

This is true.. Dyno will tell you numbers but it needs to be tuned on the street to be fast and drivable on the street. We can setup one big dyno day somewhere and have a bbq/cruise?

We have a dyno in buffalo but everyone post the dyno in your area and we can decide what the best deal/option is.

 

If you look at my mods i pulled 346whp and 378wtq on a dynonjet.

I use 490 out by victor. Its usually dead and can get high speeds. Low patrolled too.

guess whos on E? YERPP thats me! guys this is the best thing that has happen and the tune is spot on. i just need to find out why there is extra heat now; iats and coolant temps are a bit higher than they used to be but it might just be my i/c pump going again or i might have to bite the bullet and get a heat exchanger finally. but she rips, and the mpg actually is better than when i was on pump gas so i'm a happy camper.

so all you wny or ny guys looking for a tune geoff [gdubs] is a very knowledgeable guy and vince is a genious. wayyy better than those new era guys. trifecta>new era.

 

temps go up with more aggressive tunes. you should have a heat exchanger either way

 

yeah everytime i save up enough something else breaks on the car haha. ordering one off zzp next week.

question though, the iats like spike sometimes its at 103 then it jumps up to like 140ish then back down to like 120 all within a matter of seconds. i replaced the pump about a year ago so could it be on its way out again

 

no that sounds normal. you could have just gotten a cobra heat exchanger for 50 dollars from anywhere. its efficient enough.
