I dont know...dont really care...its just what I've heard I cant complain about what I made. But I'd find it odd that multiple stage 2 guys with exhaust didnt even make 230+whp and recently on another thread on here...a new ss/tc only put down 205whp@outlaw this winter...which is unheard of and I'm not saying anything bad about Fred at all

 

i just think that day the dyno got fried from all the cars that went on it that thing was burning

where did you hear that? i saw the graphs...was 249whp 259wtq or something now its up near the 300s with a tune.

Dyno wasnt fried...The breaks for the drums are pretty much shot which is why you heard the squeek and smelled burned ****. The numbers there are pretty on stock i dynoed 131whp which is where i should be anyway.

 

Ahhh...its on here somewhere...area 47 started a thread asking what the highest hp the lnf's were making. This is what the kid said that owned the car...but who knows...maybe he's alittle slow and cant read dyno sheets right... I'll take your word over his anyway haha

The dyno is a heart breaker for sure. It still is very reliable.

If you use it for what it should be used for, tuning, it's perfect. But it may upset people, including myself, when it comes to bragging about numbers.

 

a heart breaker is fine numbers at a dyno dont really mean anything but that...bragging rights...tuning is what is all about! what you run at the track means more to me than a car putting down a **** ton of power...all show and no go I think that dyno underrates by 10whp or so compared to an "average" dyno...lol...if you can really say average...haha...but seriously...what a stage 2 balt and ion with exhaust only put down like what 227-229whp in oct...when they should be in the upper 230's. Would you say that sounds right or am I way off....

 

it does calculate for the SAE correction... keep that in mind

 

alot of dyno's do..but that doesnt make all dynos equal either.
