PGH Waterfront Meet Aug 26th
I just wanted to say thanks to all of you that made it on Saturday. it ended up being a pretty good night at the waterfront. Pep Boys could have been a little more fun if that a**hole wasn't shooting paintballs on Rt. 30, but overall it was a fun evening.

I figured the tune would bump me. My dealer also told me that I could order an 06 SS with the high spoiler when I bought my car. I didn't want the high spoiler then, but he made it known that I could order a new car and get it when we were talking about the supercharged Cobalt. I know for a fact that the low pro spoiler was an option on the supercharged in 06 as well. I saw that personally.
Like I said before, once next summer rolls around, I'll be in SM anyway. It doesn't matter to me much anyway. I go just to run. I'm not expecting to come out number 1, no matter what class I'm in.

The wing was not a factory option though for either car. You could order it but it was a dealer installed option. Those are considered "aftermarket" by SCCA rules. You'd also be SM because you're missing a back bowtie. It's goofy the way they do things sometimes.

Well, like I said... I doubt that anyone locally would say anything. They barely knnow what the car is, let alone see one racing enough to know where all the badges go and to spot them during tech....
If it was NATS... then I'd be worried.
By the time I get to nats... I'll be in SM anyway... or in a different car.
BTW...Alicia... did I see in another post you said you hit a deer????

NOTHING on my end... I'm here @ work until 6 ( 12 hr day ) and back @ 6AM tomorrow.. and here until whenever as well.
Got invited over to my friend's in White Oak, so I'll be there for a little while tonight.
I'm ordering it from TTR on Monday, and their shipping is always fast. So I assume the weekend of the 8,9,10. I still need to talk to Alan about his garage and see if he is still up for it. He said we could use his place when I buy it. Which is only like 5 miles from my house but a pretty long drive for you people, lol.
