Now onto the point of the ported supercharger being more efficient. First a little info for those that don't know. Three types of superchargers. Roots(what we all have), twinscrew, and centrigual. Now the differences. The centrigual aka. vortech or procharger style superchargers act like a turbo in the fact of the compressor housing. a centrifugal supercharger actually compresses air inside the compressor housing and then pushes that air into the engine making it extremely efficient. A twinscrew type supercharger also compresses the air inside the housing itself and then pushing the air into the engine but makes more boost off of idle then a cetrifigul because its directly mounted to the engine. the roots is the most inefficient of all the designs because in fact it does not actually compress the air, it is more or less an air pump. the boost numbers you see are from the air being compressed inside the intake manifold right before it enters the engine. When air compresses it makes the air hotter and since the roots compresses right before it enters the engine that is why they sucks ass.
wow, i just woke up from this lesson....but you pretty much hit it on the money

yea me and 06ss all day got to play around, that thing is fast....you can see the mods in the sig, basically all that ish with me tryna tune it, "half assed" is an understatement but it runs haha

Tha guy chris really knows his ****, I got get w/him some more on getting this thing dialed in...

lol no your right! The tune is shitty but I wont blame it on intense, my car has a lot more mods since then. The car ran great actually with just the intense stage 5 kit, I ran a 13.6 @ 105 the first time at the track w/it back then. Now I cant even get back into the 13s since the rebuild lol. If I could get this damn MAF dialed in correctly, the thing would run so much better, Im learning day by day but its a pain in the ass! haha...

and yea I was tryna take EVERYTHING that Chris was telling me about tuning in! Hes definitely on point w/it...I remembered sum, not all, should definitely bring him to the meet out here also.

**EDIT** Not too mention, I would never take anything away from your car, ZZP is definitely running the game w/the LSJs so its no suprise it runs that close to my car w/mods for days....I need to hit em up and see if they gotta tune for me too, I might give up on this tuning, it aint for everybody haha

lol I wont even call it a win but I got him by a bumper at most from the 40 roll the second roll race b4 we shut it down cuz of traffic, idk, my car seems to wanna wake up late as **** at the top of 3rd and 4th lol...

the first roll though was pretty much even tho....ZZP vs Dom1013 tryna tune is definitely ZZP ftw haha, ZZP is the **** though, maybe they gotta tune for my set up too

I think im done racing for now because the inside of my car is too dirty to race. my interior is just... too dusty. so the extra pebbles and dirt particles is weighing me down.
