i ran a halfway built full h22 2 door civic. gutted etc... beat him by 3/4 car. he has forged top end/bottom end, i/h/e tune and street slicks. he was like yo i never lost to a cobalt. i beat them allll the time by at least 2 cars. i was like u probably ran stock cobalts. if modded u beat the driver. cool guy tho def. than i ran a FULLY built H22 civic coupe running street slicks also. he got me by half car on the 1/4. but we kept going lol when i slammed 4th gear i passed him with a full car. god mexico is always fun

I park there when I can just because Media has more scheduled return trips than Elwyn. I started back at Drexel today and swung by to get my train pass. This was around 11 AM.. all spots were taken, as usual. I don't think I've seen you there before, but I parked there a lot in a black Trans Am. I have a blue TBSS now.. had to park over at Elwyn today.

Nice, there is a black Trailblazer SS that parks in the Media lot too (might be yours - hard distinguishing the dark blue and blacks on TBSS's). It's nicely done and makes me wish I got one every time I walk by it.

Ahh, yes. The $142.50 per month for the pass. You can only get parking in the Media train station lot if you get there by 7:20 Monday-Wednesday and 7:30-7:35 Thursday and Fridays. I've been going there long enough now since I work in the city.

PS - Don't mind how dirty my car is. She'll be getting cleaned later this week.

 

I have the 06 blue. The dark blue was 07+. My cars are always dirty as ****. I wash them and then within 2 days it's dirty again. I dont really mind, but it puts a smile on my face for the day or two that it's actually clean.

If I ever catch you there, you can drive mine if you want. It's AWD.. not quite as quick as the RWD. It's still stock too.. I've been on the fence about whether I wanna switch to a G8 GT or keep rockin' the SS.

 

Got ya, thanks on the clarification of colors and years. I had dark colored cars for years and finally bought my first red. Can't complain since the car hasn't been washed in 2 weeks ..

I'd love to drive it when we're both free! Plus AWD>RWD from a dig at least ... I'd keep rocking the SS if it were me. They're just sexy as sin.

PS - there's a local car meet in Aston that me and some of my buddies go to. I don't know where you're from specifically, but it'd be great to see a new face around there since many are foreign makes. There's a nasty Typhoon that comes up. The meet is Wednesday nights around 845pm on 452 in Aston - same shopping center as the Planet Fitness.

PS - don't mind that other person bragging about their tune. Different dynos, conditions, etc. I will put my car on the line he/she has at least 7-9* of knocking.

 

Trust me, I'm not haha. I know with just a tune and nothing else I'd probably be mid-deep into the 260's on the same dyno. GMS2 tune and static injectors up top ftmfl!!

Samesies. My torque starts to drop off a little bit after 5k though, but it's still fairly flat.

Waiting... 2.7 or 2.8, 60's, ported sc and tb, h/e, new plugs, and a tune. Can't ******* wait. Just gotta find somewhere/someone to do it. And gotta figure out if I want to do the 2.8 w/o meth or a 2.7 with meth...

 

Im like 15 minutes from there. I work in Aston on weekends at Towne and Country Cafe. I'm kinda lazy about car meets, so I doubt I'll make it out too often.

I went with AWD because at the time I already had a Trans Am that was more of a race oriented vehicle, so I needed some that had a bit more overall utility. I needed safety and 4 doors because I had a son a little under 10 months ago. The TA put down 399/380 (no spray)... cam, full exhaust, other dinky stuff, plus a 100 shot. I lost my second job due to a change of ownership of the business, and with it the Trans Am had to go. I ended up crashing it right before I was about to sell it, but it's gone anyway, so I'm happy.

I'm taking the 4:57 home at 30th street. I was actually about to park 2 spots over from you, but I had a ton of time before the train and went to go get a coffee. By the time I got back, someone had taken the spot.
