piecing together a kit
piecing together a kit
if i wanted to piece together a stage kit with a 2.7 or 2.8, 60# injectors, exhaust(price on avg.), header and downpipe, and of course a tune. about how much am i looking at. i obviously know the standard price on the parts, but the tune is where i get confused. i'm on the site like 5 hours a day so i've done some research, but dont quite understand if i get a tune from someone else how it works. i'd be willing to drive to get a tune. can someone explain?

yeah people on here with HPtuners will either send you a tune or you will meet up and they will tune it in person. but it will cost money, HP tuners has credits they have to pay for.
can i do all of that except HP tune..i dont have a hp tuner nor do i knw someone around me that has a hp tuner..cant i just take the car to a local dyno shop and have them dyno tune/street tune it there?
As long as the local dyno shop has HPTuners, they can tune it. Price and there knowledge would something that you would have to find out though. blownssdel, Tune Time Performance isn't far from you, talk to them or shoot me a PM for more info.
hey would u recomend tune time performace i'm alil way out in philly but i need a good trusted shop i would a few things done to my car, like 2.6 pulley, he, meth, 60 # and install of a cat back. also do they do body and paint??
I would definatly recommend them to anyone. Matt is a great guy and very knowledgeable on just about any car haha. They installed everything you just listed minus the catback. I should be heading up there Thursday to pick up my car (installed cams, H/E, water/meth), I can ask them for a price on everything if you want. Or just call/e-mail Matt and tell them that Dan with the Red Cobalt SS sent you and he'll hook you up. Anything else, feel free to ask me!
I forgot, body and paint I'm not sure on, but I don't think that they do it.
